Streetlight Repair and Powerlines

Ever notice a streetlight that isn’t on when it should be or on when it shouldn’t? FortisAlberta has made it easy for residents to give notice that a repair is needed!

Check out their website at https://service.fortisalberta.com/streetlights , zoom into Sedgewick and click on the light that you wish to file a complaint about. Fortis will be notified and the light repaired within a few days.

The Town of Sedgewick often receives calls regarding trees entangled in powerlines. As this is a safety issue and a threat to the line exists, Town staff is not permitted to deal with these situations. Instead, call 310-WIRE and a FortisAlberta representative will address your complaint by sending out one of their crews.
