Rental of Town Owned Lots

The Town Public Works Department takes pride in their ability to maintain the Town’s parks and lands so that they present a well-maintained appearance to residents and visitors alike and complement the neighbourhoods they are located in.

Town Council has adopted Municipal Lot Lease Policy 18-09. This policy will permit an individual to use a Town-owned lot with requirements for certain lot maintenance and public liability provisions. A copy of the Municipal Lot Lease Agreement is available to interested individuals.

Residents are reminded that the regulations of Traffic Bylaw #440 must be complied with in regards to parking of recreational and non-registered vehicles on public roads.

Flagstaff Regional Housing Group – Seniors’ Self-contained, Subsidized Apartments

The Flagstaff Regional Housing Group, in cooperation with The Bethany Group, offers Seniors’ Subsidized Housing in Sedgewick at Prairie Rose Place, located at 5101 – 50 Street, Sedgewick.

Prairie Rose Place is a 10-unit complex that offers independent living for low to moderate income seniors. Each suite offers complete privacy and comes equipped with all the necessary facilities. Communal spaces also encourage residents to congregate or visit with friends and family.

The program is funded in part by the payment of rent by residents, and in part by provincial government subsidies.
