Council discussed the following issues during their regular meeting on March 18th, 2021.

ASSET MANAGEMENT – PLAN AND STRATEGY
Council approved the Asset Management Strategy and the Asset Management Plan, as presented.

MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION – DEVELOPMENT PERMIT APPLICATION #2021-02
Council, in their role as the Municipal Planning Commission, approved Development Permit Application #2021-02 with conditions for the change of use to a public car wash.

WILD ROSE CO-OP RECREATION CENTRE – ENERGY CONSERVATION MEASURES
Council directed Administration to submit an application for pre-approval to the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre for the noted energy efficiency projects at the Wild Rose Co-op Recreation Centre.

FLAGSTAFF WASTE MANAGEMENT – 2021 NO FEE WEEKEND
Council approved a motion to retain Saturday, April 24th and Sunday, April 25th from 1pm to 4:30pm for the Town of Sedgewick’s schedule for the 2021 spring clean-up no fee weekend.
